Day 1 in Pangkor Isle(20th Dec 2007)

FYI:the trip was organized by Mrs.Lee(owner of ET Klang)


My sis and I set out for ET Klang(meeting point)early in the morning,and was the 1st to arrive.
The place seems deserted...however KFC was still open for business XD ...After waiting for some time,some students came along,FINALLY,someone came,and here's where Han Ren came into the play...and too waited there with us!...AFTER waiting for some time again,the teachers finally came along with 2 buses....and the 1st thing on my mind was:TEACHER YOUR LATE!!!!Soon we set out for the jetty,THANK GOD the bus was air conditioned!


I don't wish to bore you telling you bout what happened in the bus,so we'll just skip to the good part.


We were in the bus...ya da ya da ya da...weee...arrival at Pangkor Isle!...As scheduled we are to go for an island tour,organized by non other than Mrs.Lee herself,YEA!The Dutch Fort was the 1st place we went for a visit,here are some snapshot i took. XD

01. Ah yes,Dutch Fort,a wonderful structure...unfortunately it was contaminated by monkeys when we arrive, sad :( Moving on!


02. This here is a dented metal sign which perfectly blends in with our Malaysian tradition of vandalism!

05. Along the fort we ran into a POOP,as you can see,there are scribblings on the POOP


As we end our tour around the Dutch Fort,we continue heading on to a temple whose name was i have forgotten! XD

06. The temple was just like any other temple,having the same items around:flags,lantern and dragon statues

After the temple,we went to a small shop near a factory which manufactures dried fish...A strong smell of saltiness was in the air,killin our noses! The girls were the ones enjoyin their shop there,while Han Ren and I stay as far as possible from the shop! ha ha XD ...I couldn't get a shot at the shop as my camera was with my sister...zzzz...and so,we skip!

Soon we arrive at the sea,but it wasn't time for us to enjoy swimming in the SALTS(sea) yet,it was an activity meant for the next day...I manage to get a few shots near the rocks but most of them are with Han Ren...Enjoy my sea side shootings XD

15. Here something to talk about,before we made this shot,Han Ren wished to pose as a mermaid lying on the rocks...FORTUNATELY,it didn't came true!

ok ok...so far these are the few shots on Day 1,not very interesting you may say,but what the heck...even i say its barely ok...i didn't get any more shots during my Pangkor trip besides these...(sigh)...so from here onwards,you'll be reading instead of looking...wuakakaka...sorry for the inconvenience

We headed straight back to the apartment after that as the sky was getting blurry with dark clouds...if you know what i mean...as we arrive at the apartment,the teachers checked in and every group of students gets their own apartment keys...


Oh!I missed out 1 part of the trip....all students were divided into a group of 13 to 10 person...and every group has their own colour...ours was yellow...and only our consist of 2 BOYS ONLY and 11 GIRLS...


The hotel has a pool,LUCKILY,and it was quite large...we went up to our apartment room and what I thought would be the best thing coming to Pangkor turns out to be very DISAPPOINTING...the apartment has only 3 rooms,3 ROOMS,it was only able to fit 2 to 4 person...I was wondering WHERE THE HELL AM I SUPPOSE TO SLEEP?!...As gentlemen,Han Ren and I were to sacrifice the soft,comfortable,warm,thick,cozy,queen sized bed to the ladies...zzz


Right...i have things to complain bout the girls in our apartment,but i'll leave the thrill for a later blog...girls might hate these complaints as some indirectly refers to them...no offense ladies XD


It was almost dinner time when we arrived at the apartment...so it was real rush for everyone to take a bath...well technically,it was only around 5.00p.m and dinner starts at 6.30 or so...but there was 13 of us and there were 11 girls who take their own sweet time bathing...you get what i mean!It was the boys who usually bathe fast or in other words 'mandi kerbau',and they were usually to bathe 1st to prevent wastage of time...but in room 206(our room no.,i think)it was a much different scenario...the girls were the 1st to bathe,leaving 2 poor boys nothing to do but wait...2 of us got bored so we went down to the pool for a dip...We swam for about 45 minutes and Han Ren decide to go back to the apartment...my brain was telling me to stay as the girls are sure to have not finish bathing...but i was persistent...went back to the room,opened the door, and so far only 2 girls have just bathe finish...disappointment consumes me...


We'll just skip the bathing part and get on with the good stuffs k?


Aaahh yes,dinner time...best part of the day...food was great but we were to sit at the V.I.P table(teachers and group leaders table)...note to self:IT WASN'T ENJOYABLE...everyone was under the XXL size category,leaving both of us the M size...Ha Ha...it was like a food war out there...everyone was stealing for the choice of their food...luckily we survived with a 70% full tangki(stomach)... a satisfying result ^^... after the war,it was back to the apartment!

After much discussion(not very),I decided to sleep on the couch and leaving Han Ren to sleep on an extra ordered mattress from the hotel with 5 other girls beside him on the floor...I wonder how he felt???

Well after the discussions there is a disco to be attended to!Ha Ha,disco...By the way the disco was fully booked only for the students...So it feels like OWNING the disco.This was 1 of the thrilling activities which SHOULD get everybody's butts shakin...but as we arrive to the disco,it was like a graveyard...no one was doing anything...the students were just sitting on the chair staring blank into space!(sigh)SERIOUSLY,i expected more!We went into the disco room and started joining the graveyard mood...As the teachers planned,we were suppose to have a karaoke 1st...it was really dull..no one dared to make a move for sometime,but after a while,they started singing...BUT,all of a sudden,there came a series of oldies which really sucks the living daylight out of us..and things started to get dull again...zzz

Well..........I can't really say its all that boring...OK,now to get on the dance floor...10 o clock sharp!As planned,it was time for the real deal...The pop rock music were played,beginning with the ever so popular song Blue-all rise...Things were getting really lively then...The students started to enjoy their time...listening to the music,ONLY...but soon,guess what?Lester hopped in for the kill,he began with a series of killer moves which really get the girls screaming for more...Soon a guy went for a pk with Lester...he seems confident at 1st...but Lester doesn't seem to give chance to the poor guy to dance...in the end,he pulled back...poor guy,didn't get a chance to show his gf he's moves!But what the heck XD

Oh,i'm sure you guys are wondering did i dance?Answer,NO!I don't dance... HA HA...After the disco we went back to our room and sleep!wuakakaka


Well that will be all for the 1st day of the Pangkor Trip...not a good story...but i'm sure you'll enjoy reading my Day 2 blog during the games XD
